Si appassiona al disegno durante gli anni del Liceo e comincia a dipingere con uno stile Pop e una ricercata ricchezza cromatica, acquisita grazie alla sua passione per la moda.
La svolta nella sua carriera artistica avviene con i numerosi e sempre più lunghi soggiorni in California, dove, innamorata di quei luoghi, trova se stessa insieme a spazi di libertà creativa e la possibilità di esprimersi pienamente.
I dipinti acrilico su tela, caratteristici per la scelta di colori saturi e puri, si arricchiscono di materiali sempre diversi, appaiono così sulle superfici dipinte pezzi di stoffa, perle e cristalli, che rendono originale il suo stile.
Le sue opere generalmente vengono costruite a partire da un particolare del viso o del corpo di una donna, arricchito da elementi materici, spesso brillanti, ricche campiture, quali quinte teatrali che svelano la storia del personaggio con un solo dettaglio e al tempo stesso fanno presagire un mistero. Le cromie dense e la tecnica mista, che trasformano la superficie in un percorso tattile, sono gli elementi chiave di questo linguaggio dedicato al mondo femminile.
Questo linguaggio, che spesso utilizza immagini di donne ed elementi emblematici della California del Sud, riflette la dicotomia tra la raffigurazione di un mondo opulento e narcisista e la volontà di esprimere l’assoluta libertà e la necessità di guardare sempre oltre la superficie, senza soffermarsi sull’apparenza.
L’artista negli ultimi anni crea dipinti dove le figure sono costruite tramite linee essenziali e sono messi in evidenza solo alcuni particolari, grazie a scelte cromatiche sgargianti, applicazioni materiche sempre diverse e sorprendenti, come i boccioli di piccole rose, le caramelle colorate, le paperelle, che rendono i dipinti specchio di un mondo femminile ricco, libero, felice e giocoso.
La sperimentazione di nuovi materiali fa nascere piccole sculture, dove tele con elementi materici, quali palloncini e caramelle, vengono incluse nella resina trasparente, a cristallizzare il mondo iconico dell’artista.
She became interested in drawing during the High School years and began to paint with a Pop Style and a refined richness of colors, acquired through her passion for fashion.
The turning point in her artistic career comes with the numerous and increasingly long stays in California, where, in love with those places, she finds herself along with spaces of creative freedom and the possibility to fully express herself.
The acrylic paintings on canvas, characteristic for the choice of saturated and pure colors, are enriched with different and eclectic materials, thus appearing on the painted surfaces pieces of fabric, pearls and crystals which make her style original.
Her artworks are generally built from a detail of a woman’s face or body, enriched with material elements, often bright, rich backgrounds, such a theatrical backdrops that reveal the story of the character with a single detail and, at the same time, foreshadow a mystery. Dense colors and mixed techniques, that transform the surface into a tactile path, are the key elements of this language entirely dedicated to the female world.
This language, which often uses images of women and iconic elements of Southern California, reflects the dichotomy between the depiction of an opulent and narcissistic world and the desire to express absolute freedom and the need to always look beyond the surface, without dwelling on appearances.
The artist in the recent years, creates paintings where figures are built through essential lines and only certain details are highlighted, thanks to garish color choices, always different and surprising material applications, such as rosebuds, colorful candies, ducks, which make the paintings mirror a rich, free, happy and playful female world.
The experimentation with new materials gives rise to small sculptures, where canvases with material elements such as balloons and candies, are included in the trasparente resin, crystallizing the artist’s iconic world.

E sì, sottolineano tutti il narcisismo nel nuovo Millennio.”
“Over the years, as I learned not only to accept my femininity, my appearance, but also to derive aesthetic pleasure from it, I made my choice, I chose the subjects I wanted to represent, which most expressed my new aesthetic world. The choice was simple. Details of the female body. Perfect lips and butts, personally interpreted. And yes, they all live in California. And yes, they all emphasize the narcissism in the New Millennium.”
